Come see the featured works by Christopher Blackstock, Peter Gronquist, Robert Minervini, Sebastian Wahl, Langdon Graves, Andrea Wan, Catherine Ryan, and Jen Mann one last time. We hope to see you this Saturday night!!! We’ll be drinking Trader Joes Simpler Times and hanging out from 6-10pm.
Sebastian Wahl came from New York for the opening reception of Highly Contagious. It was such a pleasure having him in SF and being in his wonderful energy. Not only is he one of the most unique artists I’ve met, but he’s also such a sweetheart. While in town he bounced from place to place and got some pretty sweet photos of San Francisco and the event. Check them out.
Influenced by the monumental 1980?s street art culture of graffiti, Sebastian Wahl set out in his youth to be a part of this movement and migrated from Stockholm to New York at the young, bright age of 20. A Parson’s School of Art and Design graduate in Advertising and Graphic Design, Wahl now produces immaculate resin collages with his knowledge of perfected line cutting, color, and design.
Sebastian describes each collage as a methodical creation “to offer countless details to discover,” for this is “the art that keeps on giving through its representation of multiple realities that twist and turn in an attempt to mirror the ever-shifting nature of life itself.”
“Through my work, I aspire to create wonder and to enhance mindfulness, concentration, tranquility and insight in myself as well as my audience. I hope that when others view my collages it helps them to interpret life positively and to bring that energy and positivity with them out in to our world.” – Sebastian Wahl
